What if I have special health considerations?

Please notify the receptionist before booking your appointments. We kindly request all guests who have any ailment or health condition to fill out our medical questionnaire.

May I request a particular therapist?

Yes, but we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular therapist.

Should I wear underwear for the treatment?

Wear what is comfortable for you. The Spa will provide you with undergarments for body treatments. Men may feel more comfortable with swimsuit briefs. All of our therapists are trained to discretely drape sheets to respect and protect your privacy at all times. For your privacy and comfort we recommend you use swimsuits in the hydrotherapy facilities. We will provide you with footwear in the appropriate size.

Where should I leave my jewels and valuables?

Please leave all valuables in the safe deposit box in your room. We are not responsible for lost or forgotten valuables. If you forget to take off your watch or earrings, we suggest you keep them inside your bathrobe pocket.

What happens if I’m late for my appointment?

Arriving late will limit the time for your treatment. You will be asked to sign a service waiver in which you agree to take the remaining time of the service. Depending on the length of your treatment, a late arrival may be classified as a no show.

How early do I need to check in for my scheduled appointment?

We recommend you check in at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment. This will give you enough time to check in, change comfortably into your robe and relax in the spa lounge before your therapist takes you to your spa treatment.

If you want to enjoy our hydrotherapy facilities with whirlpool, sauna and steam room, please plan to arrive 45 or 60 minutes prior to your first service.

What precautions should I take?

We recommend you do not eat in excess prior to your spa service or drink alcoholic beverages in combination with exercise, whirlpools and heat based treatments. Do not shave your legs prior to a body scrub treatment. Be aware that bad sunburn may keep you from enjoying a spa treatment, so always remember to use good sun protection.

How shall I pay for my treatments and services?

Ya’ax Ché Spa guests may charge their treatments to their rooms or may use all major credit cards. Outside guests who book or buy services must pay in advance with cash or a major credit card.
